Yes, all Koralkari products are lead and cadmium free and crafted with utmost attention to safety and quality standards, making sure that everything is completely food safe.

All our products are first designed by our team at the Koralkari Studio in New Delhi. They are then handcrafted and hand-painted beautifully by skilled artisans in India.

All Koralkari products are built for everyday use and are completely safe for the dishwasher, microwave and even for the oven. Our products can also go in the fridge or freezer. Just be mindful to avoid sudden temperature changes (freezer to microwave) as that could lead to cracking.

We recommend hand washing your Koralkari dinnerware to maintain its longevity. However, they are also dishwasher safe for added convenience. Just avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh scouring pads that may damage the finish.

Our ceramics are made with stoneware, and clay as a material, contains naturally occuring flecks which sometimes come to the surface during the firing period. Same goes for slight colour variations which occur due to the proximity of the product to the source of heat during the firing period. At Koralkari, we embrace these inevitable occurences as all our products are hand crafted with love, and we urge you to do the same!

While all semi-matte ceramics are susceptible to superficial marks from flatware use, they can be easily removed with proper care. If you notice such marks on your ceramics, consider using a homemade paste with water, lemon juice, or baking soda to gently clean them off with a scrub.
